On Sunday, May 4 , after one year since its official inauguration, the photographical exhibition of images taken from the book “Il Racconto del Riso – An Italian Story of Rice” will reopen at Tenuta Colombara; pictures are by Gianni Berengo Gardin, the only Italian to have won the prestigious Lucie Award prize for photography. The master wanted to dedicate 101 photographs reflecting the past and present life in the Tenuta Colombara estate.
Hell’s Kitchen, one of the most successful in entertainment cooking shows of the world, landed in Italy andchoose Acquerello rice as the official product in the program.
Launched in England in 2004, the program has decreed the international success of Chef Gordon Ramsay.
On the heels of this success, the program is broadcasted on SkyUno on Thursday, April 17th at 9.00pm.
The Italian version starring 16 professional chefs, divided into two teams, one consisting in 8 women, and the other in 8 men.
The competitors, ready to do battle to catch their dream and win the ultimate prize, have to bear the sufferings of a kitchen in a tight rhythm. To act as a judge, a true “superstar of the kitchen”: Carlo Cracco.
He will decide who to eliminate and how to push the group of aspiring chefs to their limit.

At just one year from the EXPO 2015, Città del Gusto in Turin by Gambero Rosso wants to pay homage to one of the main protagonists in the world food scene: the rice.
On Sunday, March 30th, from 10 am to 7 pm, Acquerello will be the main character in the Open Day titled ‘Your Excellency, the Rice’, organized by Città del Gusto in Turin, presenting a show-cooking dedicated to arancini (rice balls), that will be carried out in the morning from 10 am to 2 pm.
The show-cooking day will consist in different workshops, and it will be set in the head-office of Città del Gusto in Turin by Gambero Rosso, located in Corso Stati Uniti 18/a.
